How to apply roof membrane – step by step

1. Prepare the surface
Start by cleaning the roof thoroughly with a stiff brush, then use a soft brush for the fine dirt.
If the dirt cannot be removed manually, high-pressure cleaning is recommended.
The surface must be clean, dry and free of loose materialsbefore you proceed.
2. Prepare the tool
You will need:
✅ A soft, good quality paint roller
✅ A brush for edges and details
✅ Masking tape to cover areas you don't want to hit
✅ Plastic gloves and possibly a painter's suit
Note: If you get the product on your skin, it can be washed off with regular soap and water – but it is best to avoid contact.
3. Roof membrane application
Open the bucket and stir thoroughly for about 30 seconds.
Start by applying the membrane along the edges and corners with a brush.
Then Roll the entire surface with a paint roller.
👉 Remember to give extra layers at joints, corners and around penetrations.
Drying time:
The membrane is typically surface dry after approximately 1–2 hours, depending on temperature and weather conditions.

The product must do not apply at temperatures below +5°Cand the weather must be dry during application and curing.

3. Applying the roof membrane

👉 Apply extra coating at seams, corners, and around roof penetrations.
Drying time:
The membrane is typically touch-dry after 1–2 hours, depending on temperature and weather conditions.
