Do-it-yourself Guide: 1-component Roof Membrane

Introduction

This guide shows you how to easily apply Luna Roof's 1-component liquid roof membrane.
(20 kg bucket). The product is ready to use, requires only one coat, and covers approximately 13.3 m² per bucket.
Perfect for do-it-yourself roof sealing.

1. Clean the roof thoroughly
Sweep and clean the roof surface. Remove dirt, algae and loose materials. The surface must be dry and clean.
If necessary, use a high-pressure cleaner or brush and clean the roof for better adhesion.

2. Lightly stir before use
The membrane is ready to use. Stir the bucket lightly, just enough to ensure a uniform consistency.
No vigorous stirring is necessary.

3. Apply the membrane. Use a wide brush, roller or spatula. Apply an even layer over the entire surface.
- 1 layer is enough (1-component product)
- Covers approximately 13.3 m² per 20 kg bucket
- Use extra material at joints, edges and drains

4. Drying time
Allow the membrane to dry for at least 24 hours. Avoid placing any weight or foot traffic on the area while it cures.

5. Inspection
Check the finished result. If there are areas with insufficient coverage, you can apply a little extra
product locally.
